Plates & Reps ("we", "us") collects account information, nutrition and workout logs, body metrics, social activity, and AI chat content to provide tracking and coaching features.
To operate the app, sync your account across devices, provide Plates & Reps AI responses, show social feed activity to people you connect with, and manage subscriptions.
Plates & Reps AI (the coach, AI food logging, and AI-generated workout and meal plans) is powered by Groq, Inc. When you use the coach, we send Groq your display name, height, activity level, goals and target macros, your nutrition totals and logged foods, your workout and cardio history, your logged body weight, and the messages you type. Food photos and voice recordings you submit for AI food logging are also processed through Groq.
When you generate an AI plan we additionally send Groq the inputs for that plan: for workout plans, your goal, experience level, available equipment, and any injuries or weak points you provide; for meal plans, your calorie target, dietary pattern, food dislikes, cuisine preferences, and any allergies or intolerances you provide. Allergy and injury information is health-related; you choose whether to provide it. We ask for your consent before AI features are used for the first time, and you can decline. Groq processes this data to generate a response and does not use it to train its models.

Plates & Reps is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us so we can delete it.
You can delete your account in the app under Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile and associated logs. Active subscriptions must be cancelled in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
